May 13: BEN TYZACK

US-born singer and guitarist Ben Tyzack was frontman of the Spikedrivers for many years. The band have now decided to take a rest so Ben now has more time for solo work. Martin is away for this session.

May 20: FRANCESCA SHAW

Franca is the bass player of choice for many UK blues acts and artists on tour from the US. She loves vintage blues and plays the big upright bass with energy and passion.

May 27: CONNOR SELBY

Soulful singer and guitarist steeped in blues. Has just won best traditional blues act award in 2026 UK blues awards, for the second year running (after winning best young blues artist award three years in a row).

June 3: MARTIN McNEILL solo session

Old-school blues, boogie and ballads – a chance for Martin to dig into his solo repertoire. £5 admission this week.

June 10: MISSISSIPI MacDONALD

Best acoustic act in the 2026 UK Blues awards, for third year in a row. Oli “Mississippi” MacDonald is a force of nature in the blues world, gigging and recording in the US and well as the UK. His guitar styles range from fingerpicking country blues to stinging lead guitar in Albert King mould. He leads his own band and often collaborates with other deep soul and blues acts.

June 17: ELSIE FRANKLIN

Elsie plays fantastic vintage blues on her resonator guitar, singing the songs of Memphis Minnie, Bessie Smith and other female blues pioneers as well as her own compositions. Now a regular at Soho’s Ain’t Nothin’ But blues bar.

June 24: REMI BANKLYN

Singer and guitarist Remi Banklyn is a rising star of the London blues scene, putting his own stamp on vintage Chicago and Delta blues.
